How herculean.chat collects, uses and protects website and waitlist information.
Last updated: 30 August 2026
This policy covers the public website at herculean.chat, including its waitlist. The authenticated Herculean application and its integrations are covered by a separate application privacy policy.
Who is responsible for your information
The website and the Herculean service are operated by Truly Digital Ltd, trading as Herculean. Truly Digital Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09206603, with its registered office at 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.
Truly Digital Ltd is the controller responsible for personal information collected through this website. To ask a privacy question or exercise your rights, reply to any waitlist email you receive from Herculean or write to the registered office above, marking your correspondence Data Protection.
Information we collect
We collect:
- Waitlist information: the email address you enter when joining the waitlist.
- Submission information: the time and technical details needed to transmit and protect a waitlist request.
- Website request information: limited technical information ordinarily received when your browser requests the website, which may include your IP address, browser type, requested page and request time.
- A local rate-limit value: after a successful waitlist submission, the website stores the submission time in your browser’s local storage for one minute to discourage repeated submissions. This value stays in your browser and does not identify you to Herculean.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the waitlist form.
Why we use information and our lawful bases
We use your email address to add you to the waitlist and send the product availability and launch updates you requested. We rely on your consent for these communications. You may withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email.
We use limited technical information to deliver the website, diagnose failures, maintain security and prevent abuse. Where data-protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website. We limit this processing to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Joining the waitlist is optional. If you do not provide an email address, you will not receive waitlist updates, but you may continue to browse the website.
Who receives information
We use service providers to operate the website:
- Cloudflare and our hosting infrastructure process website requests and limited server logs so the website can be delivered and secured.
- Loops receives and stores waitlist submissions and helps us send waitlist communications.
- YouTube and Google may receive technical request information on pages containing a YouTube video. The preview thumbnail is requested from YouTube when such a page loads. The privacy-enhanced YouTube player is loaded only after you choose to play the video.
These providers process information under their own contractual and privacy terms. They may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, transfers must be protected by an applicable adequacy decision, contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights or security, or as part of a business reorganisation subject to appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep information
We keep your waitlist email until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or the waitlist and related launch communications have ended. We may keep a minimal suppression record after an unsubscribe so that we respect your preference.
Hosting and security logs are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to operate, investigate and protect the website, subject to the retention settings of the relevant provider and any legal obligations.
The local rate-limit value in your browser is overwritten after later successful submissions and is only used by the website for a one-minute rate-limit check. You can remove it at any time through your browser’s site-data controls.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information; object to certain processing; receive information you provided in a portable format; and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
These rights may be subject to legal limits. To make a request, reply to a Herculean waitlist email. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
You may complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your location. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office. In the European Economic Area, you may contact your local supervisory authority.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. It uses the one-minute local-storage value described above for waitlist rate limiting. Embedded third-party content may use its own technologies after it is loaded.
Children’s privacy
The waitlist is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so that we can remove it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website develops or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy here and change the date above. If a change materially affects how we use existing waitlist information, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
