Install Codex CLI for Herculean

Codex CLI-specific installation instructions for Herculean.

Codex CLI connects to Herculean directly as a remote MCP server.

1. Add the Herculean MCP server

Run this command on the machine where you use Codex:

Add Herculean to Codex

codex mcp add herculean \
  --url https://mcp.herculean.chat/mcp

Check the Codex connection

codex mcp list
codex mcp get herculean

Restart your Codex session. Herculean’s tools, including Memory and your Codex tasks, should then appear alongside the normal Codex tools.
